MYOCYTE
Hi! How are you? I’m Myocyte, Natty’s virtual assistant, and I’ll help you understand your aches and other muscle symptoms that are getting on your nerves. I’ll also show you how to locate and treat the muscles involved in your discomfort, and I’ll share exercises to strengthen them and help prevent flare-ups.

OUR AREAS
Physical Activity
Leave excuses behind and get moving. And even more importantly: get our older adults moving. We should do physical activity every day. Alone or with company, as you prefer. Whatever activity you enjoy most. If you like, we’ll suggest challenges at different levels to work all parts of the body. We’ll give you some basic exercise routines and self-care routines too.
For more specific work tailored to your individual characteristics, we recommend that you see health and physical activity professionals.
Nutrition
Learn how to shop, read labels, organize your fridge, healthy recipes…
Let’s learn to eat well together!
Add common sense and consistency to your plate—we’ll take care of the rest.
For individualized follow-up and a plan tailored to you, put yourself in the hands of Nutrition professionals. They will determine your specific needs and the best strategy to reach your healthy weight.
Workshops
To help you, bring you together, and motivate you, we’ve created a series of workshops and courses that we can deliver in person or online.
Fall prevention workshop for older adults, especially aimed at neighborhood associations, senior centers, town councils, and pensioners’ and retirees’ associations.
Physical activity workshops vary depending on the type of attendees. We pay special attention to promoting exercise and mobility among older people.
Our philosophy
Find a balance for a healthier life. Small routines will help you improve your physical and mental well-being.
Our logo
The walnut: one of the healthiest nuts out there, with countless beneficial properties for our body and mind.
Its shape and structure are very special. Inside, the nut looks a lot like the brain, the most powerful organ in humans. Outside, a hard, resilient shell protects it. Mmmm… wait a moment… a strong, resilient structure that protects what’s inside… doesn’t that remind you a lot of the human body?
Our name
We’ve played a bit with words and pronunciation. In English, anything to do with nuts is written “nutty”, but it’s pronounced almost the same as “natty”, a word we love. So, by combining words, pronunciations, and concepts from these two terms that fascinate us, Natty was born.
And what does Natty mean?
Elegant, smart, good-looking, nice, stylish, attractive… That’s what natty means, and that’s how we want you to feel on the inside… and on the outside too!!! Feel Natty!
